I co-founded ANUS with Goldo and was the “front man” for this infamous band from 1999-2003. This was our first recording with the full and final line-up.
Anus was Bernard Bernard (vocals and keyboard), Goldo (vocals and guitar), Nathan Holloway (guitar), Moore Rhys (bass and vocals), John Wolf (drums), Karen Schleifer (vocals and percussion), and Michael Dunn (vocals). Anus was based in Los Angeles from 1999 through 2003.
Part Psychedelic Jam Band, Part Classic Rock Punk-Funksters, Part Joke-Band, and Part Surreal Poetry, Anus is survived by 3 cds, “Forget About The Moon”, “Checking The Levels: Timothy ‘Speed’ Levitch and The Anus Consciousness”, and “America’s #2 Band”. As well as numerous poopie groupies.
